I can't believe how bad I bowled today. The lanes were a little slicker then usual, but so what? I shot 510 today. 5-freaking-10. Can you believe that? I had been bowling mediocre in the last two weeks in this particular league, and shooting 510 doesn't help.

This 510 series is with shooting 200 the last game, just to save face. Unbelievable. I seriously cannot remember the last time I bowled this bad. 510? Come on, now.

I was using the wrong ball, but I was incredibly too stubborn to switch balls. Horrible. This will never happen again. Now, I need to shoot 700, JUST to be at around a 200 average in that league, and that is nowhere near of where I should be.

Oh, but in my Thursday Night league, I'm bowling just fine. How is this possible? Why can't I bowl good ALL THE TIME?

I guess that's just too much to ask for. Or is it? I don't see why I can't bowl well, all the time. I just hate this pattern that I constantly design for myself = dig a big hole, and then try to climb out of it. Every single solitary time. I can never start off good. Ever. It happens at tournaments, also. I'll start off very slow at the beginning, and then pick it up late. Can't I always "pick it up"?

We'll see what happens next week. It can't be worse then today, that's for sure.
