Year-End Evaluation - Results.
{ 01-01-03 }

Happy New Year everyone! Since I have nothing better to do today, why not compile all the evaluations, and post the results? First of all, I would like to thank the following people for evaluating me:

• Joe Teixeira

Unfortunately, no one took my evaluation request seriously. I got a lot of fake evaluations, though. Anyway, here are all the results, and a brief summary of each topic. Here is the grading scale again:

Cashing Percentage: 14 of 18 (77%)
Grade: B
Notes: This could have been a lot better, if not a perfect 100%, or higher. I can vividly remember tournaments where I simply could not keep up with everyone else. Hopefully this year will be different.

Finals Percentage: 11 of 18 (61%)
Grade: A
Notes: This percentage actually got way better towards the end of the year. And, because it's my evaluation, I'm giving myself an A.

Titles: 1 of 18 (5.5%)
Grade: B-
Notes: Once again this could have been a lot higher. I missed a lot of spares in some tournaments that made the difference between 1st and 5th. I can distinctly recall 2 tournaments where I was either on top or close to the lead, and fell off the last game. We need to work on closing the deal here.

Earnings: $2,660.00
Grade: B
Notes: Since this is all relevant to my cashing percentage, I'm going to give this topic the same grade.

PBA Performance: (0-6 Finals, 0-6 Cashing, $0.00 Earnings)
Grade: F
Notes: Well you can't get worse at bowling regionals then I did this year. But I have a very good feeling about next year. It may be my breakthrough year. We'll wait and see.

Overall Performance
Grade: B+
Notes: When I bowled good, I finished higher in the standings and made cuts. When I didn't bowl good, I didn't make it. It was that plain and simple in 2002. This year will be much better for me, especially in the professional ranks (Maybe next year's evaluation can have PBA stats on it first, then amateur stats second).

Website Design
Grade: A+
Notes: I've been updating it as frequently as possible, and there are no broken links or spelling errors anywhere. The design is simple, and easy to navigate through. A+ for sure!

Well there you have it. The 2002 year in the books. I really can't wait for the 2003 tournament season to begin. There are quite a few tournaments upcoming, especially in February. There are also a few regional events upcoming, and even a National Tour stop in Orlando, also in February. I want to bowl as many as possible, and that will most likely happen.
